Is it safe to mount a TV above a fireplace?+
Usually, when there is a mantel and a gas insert that pushes heat forward. With an open wood-burning box and no mantel, rising heat can shorten a panel’s life. We check the wall temperature and tell you before drilling.
Will it be too high to watch comfortably?+
A tilting bracket angled toward the couch fixes most of it. We set the tilt while you sit where you actually watch, then lock it.
What does a fireplace mount cost?+
Your size tier plus $30 for the fireplace position. Brick adds $35 and uneven stone or tile adds $50, because both take masonry hardware and slower drilling. The booking flow totals it before you confirm.
Can the wires be hidden on a brick chimney?+
Brick cannot be fished, so a slim paintable channel runs down the least visible edge and disappears once painted. If the chimney has a drywall chase, an in-wall run to a recessed outlet is cleaner.
